Lori Holmes graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Western Ontario. For 11 years, she worked as an active team member at London Health Sciences Centre. Unique opportunities in voice research, assessment and rehabilitation were made possible through the Centre's Vocal Function Clinic; by request, she rejoined the Clinic in 2001. Her private practice, Well Spoken, was established in 1996 in response to a perceived need for expanded services in the private sector, especially in the areas of voice improvement, voice rehabilitation, accent reduction and communication and speaking skill enhancement. She has held lectureship positions at both the University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College and has consulted at the Theatre School at Ryerson University. Lori is a regular trainer for the Canadian Centre of Activity & Ageing. She has conducted workshops on a wide variety of topics pertaining to aspects of communication and voice care. Lori is a member of the coaching team at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Canada.
